Towry Law Charitable Trust (TLCT)
We take corporate social responsibility very seriously, evidenced by the creation
of the Towry Law Charitable Trust in 1979, managed by a Board of Trustees.
The current policy is to make grants to other registered charities for projects
in the UK concerned mainly (but not exclusively) with the education and/or
welfare of deprived or handicapped children.
The Trust is also very keen to support the charitable activities of Towry Law employees
and makes grants available for those who participate in fundraising projects in
support of a UK registered charity. Fundraising activities have included sponsored
horse riding, running marathons, sponsored walks and The White Peaks skiing challenge.
Since its inception the Trust has distributed over £3million between about 50 local
and national charities. Some of the areas that have benefited include:
- medical research
- children with disabilities
- care of the elderly
- education

The Trust will continue to support a significant number of registered charities, but has recently taken the decision to align itself to a number of charities that reflect the core values of the Trust and the socially responsible ethos of Towry Law. The charities that have been selected have all, in their day-to-day duties, provided help and support to Towry Law employees. They are:
Brain Tumour UK (charity number 1068338)
Great Ormond Street Hospital (235825)
Breast Cancer Haven (1061726)
Multiple Sclerosis Society (207497)
