Community Involvement
Towry Law's community activity will initially focus on two key areas:
- Support for the National Reading and Numeracy programme
A number of Towry Law employees give up their time to help school children learn how to read and write. This is a richly rewarding experience for our staff and provides real benefits to the children, many of whom come from deprived families.
We are now expanding our involvement in this programme to support children, in schools local to our offices, on a national basis.
- Employee engagement days
This initiative involves Towry Law employee working collectively on local environmental projects with their colleagues.
We are partnering with BTCV, a leading charity in the UK, which has 50 years' experience of working with individuals and local communities.
The projects themselves will each aim to deliver sustainable local environmental or social improvements.
